For those who have larger follow lists and struggle to pick out streamers or manage notifications (e.g neurodivergent, ADHD, dyslexia, autism, blindness, etc...) it would be helpful to be able to pin or mark streams that they would prefer to watch frequently.
This would allow one to see at a glance if streams they want to prioritize are live. There is not enough separation between online and offline channels either.
For myself as an example; I follow channels to offer support but don't always want to watch them. I have a set of channels I ALWAYS go to but I struggle to keep track of time and schedules (notifications don't work). I check who is live when I open twitch, but scrolling through the channel list I often miss seeing them.
Being able to separate or categorize follow list would be a huge help in chunking out information for visual or processing difficulties.

The new functionality sadly doesn’t work. I can only pick 3 channels which is not even close to enough for me and once they go offline they disappear so they don’t ever stay pinned. Unfortunately it’s unusable in current format :(
I wish channels I modded for would automatically go to the top at the very least or I could sort. The ones with the most viewers are rarely the ones I want to go to by default.
