Ok, everybody clearly hates this, can you end the "experiment" now?? Nobody asked for it, nobody wanted it, nobody likes it. I sure hope whoever was in charge of designing and implementing this "experiment" gets reemed a new one at least, fired at best.

In the email, which is dressed as a promotional email that I would never read with no indication of urgency, there is only mention of adding a feature, not removing or replacing bits. Bits are the best thing you have, please never ever change that. This was a terrible job, please take the feature off my channel immediately, and please reprimand whoever is responsible for this.
I see what you're saying, but I don't think anyone would realistically sub or use bits in a channel where they knew all of that money was just going right to Twitch. Couldn't you just make your channel affiliate, and then just make it a strong point that every cent you make on Twitch will be committed to charity, or to community giveaways, or literally ANYTHING at all? I feel like a little creativity on the streamer's part can solve this problem. I think some people would be attracted to a stream that commits ALL of it's revenue to some cause, or giving it right back to the viewers of the channel in some fun way. Man, using the revenue to reward your viewers sounds like a WAY better option.
