This would be great. I was made a mod to delete spoilers for a game but then the streamer just saw the spoilers more because they were highlighted as deleted and he checked them.
Edit: Sinspitterx said it more clearly than me. Mods need this ability and chatters would be able to enjoy chat more.

It's become a meme in some streams to always tie the poll as well. So if a viewer wants their vote to count they have to wait till the last second to vote and hope a tie-er doesn't slip in after them and tie it anyway. There's so many in some streams that insist on tying it gets disheartening that your vote never counts. Hiding really needs to be an option.
And yes I'll also vote for what I dislike the least rather than what I truly want if what I want seems to be loosing.
