Hey all,
Thank you for the patience with us on this. This has been one of the most popular ideas on UserVoice and we definitely heard your feedback.
Today we launched /announcement for mods and streamers. Announcements can be used in chat to highlight a message and are available in 4 different colors along with the channel accent color. Because this is only part of the ask of this idea we are setting this idea to partial release so the community can continue to leave feedback on this.

Unbelievable this important part of my (and many others) community got changed cause of a mistake by streamers that is so easily avoided and is one of the most basic principles of having your stream in order. I went through the help center to leave a message but found this after.

You have a lot of different suggestions here, the latter of which have not been implemented so I will leave the topic open, but I wanted to let the thread know that we have recently released the ability to remove followers from your list by Blocking them.

I would love this as I just got bot bombed twice and have 13k followers that are bots. I'm afraid to use the extension that's not from Twitch as I don't want to accidentally delete everyone.
It’s been 5 months… 5!! Nothing has been changed. The reason to remove it was utter bull from people who don’t pay attention to every single way possible to check if a donation is actually made (alerts, lights, bot messages, and action list…). With so many bigger fish to fry, this is what was found most important and everyone agrees it was dumb. At least make it an option like you were hinting for, jeez!
