Some languages should have a special treatment. e.g. Spanish - There is European Spanish and Latin American Spanish. You should be able to search all variants or just one variant. Similarly German. There is Low German, Bavarian/Austrian German, Swiss German and some other variants. Another case is Balkan/Adria/South Slavic languages. They are basically the same and you should be able to search all of them at once.

This should be configurable. Me as a Czech want to see Czech and Slovak streams recommended because Czech and Slovak are mutually intelligible. But only Czech streams are recommended by default, you have to search Slovak streams on your own. And people with knowledge of English also prefer English streams.

Though we have not yet added support for multiple language tags, we have added more than 350 new options that we think may help out with this particular ask.

Czech and Slovak are mutually intelligible but you cannot search both at one time. So it would be great to search both at one time or tag the stream both Czech and Slovak.

There is a problem that Twitch has only tags for localized languages. And Twitch recommends you streams in your localization. This is a bad design choice.
