100 people queue up for a drop on a random streamer. You could have events where 500, or even 1,000 people could queue up for a drop. This feature could be turned off by streamers who do not want a random drop of viewers and for streamers with a certain amount of current viewers would not be applicable. I believe this would help keep newer streamers motivated to stay streaming for a chance that they might get a 100 viewers randomly. And ads could be rolled while people are queueing up.
The ability to queue up with a hundred other people in a chatroom and then be dropped on a random streamer.
Sometimes you don't know who you want to watch or the streamer you are following isn't streaming at that time, but you would still like to watch something on twitch. This option would not be available to streamers with a certain amount of followers or current viewers to maximize the impact it would have on a relatively smaller streamer.
I believe this would be a good incentive for newer and smaller streamers to keep streaming in the event of a fairly large amount of viewers being dropped on them and a fun and interesting way for viewers to discover new and interesting streamers that they may otherwise never have visited.
You could have special events where you could have chat rooms with up to five hundred or even a thousand people. Ads could be run while people wait for the room to fill up as well. And you would have the option to turn off twitch roulette if you would prefer not to be included in the available streamers of which people could be selected for the drop. This option would be off by default.
