Moments met the goals it intended to achieve in regards to engagement and rewards for regular long time viewers. It gave value to staying engaged and created a list of important clips that people could watch to catch up on the "lore" of a stream. The shortcomings of Moments are entirely on the limitations of the clipping system Twitch has barely improved since launch many years ago. Moments can only be 60s, must be clipped on the spot, must be renamed and managed within 24 hours, so many made up limitations that make the feature so hard to use. If ANY of those problems were fixed, and Moments was rolled out to more creators, there's not a doubt in my mind it would be utilized.

I'm so sick and tired of Twitch pushing out legitimate good features and ideas and not giving it the proper attention it deserves before judging if it's worth keeping or not. Next y'all are gonna get rid of the Highlighter just because not enough percentage of users use it? Even though it's an extremely important tool? The clipping feature of twitch gets the same amount of attention by development (hardly any) but it's staying around despite it still being buggy and extremely limited in scope.

Moments was meant to be a feature that gained value over time as people collected moments and streamers made their collection of special clips. This feature needs to be expanded. Its potential is so great. Stop giving up on features just because Twitch is terrible at educating users about how to use them and terrible at maintaining them. Just work on Moments.

Tags can be categorized by stream content tags, and streamer identity tags. Streamers shouldn't have to compromise on either. A limit on tags make sense, but streamers shouldn't have to choose to talk less about themselves to talk more about their content, and vise versa.
