So here are a couple thoughts as a partner and someone (slowly) working to put the pieces in place for a team.
Most of this I agree with yet see it difficult to implement effectively. I don't agree with the aspect of affiliates making teams simply because it goes the way of discord. If everyone can make their own team, everyone will make a team and then it circles back to the same age old discovery problem. Not only that, but there are plenty of ways to circumvent that and have seen plenty of teams set up by a partner only to be transferred to an affiliate streamer as they are no longer using it (or never intended on using it).
What is truly missing from this equation (in my opinion) is the squad streaming aspect (which is also locked behind the check mark). This program should be implemented within the team program instead giving members of a team the ability to stream together which could further support the event aspect mentioned.
