I've noticed something interesting about recommended channels in the sidebar:
- When I manually unfollow a streamer, their channel seems to disappear from my recommendations fairly quickly.
- However, when a streamer blocks and then unblocks me (which automatically removes my follow), their channel continues to appear in my recommendations for a long time.
I'm not sure whether Twitch's recommendation algorithm treats these two situations differently, but that's what I've observed.
I don't want to block someone just to remove them from my recommendations, especially since blocking also affects interactions with them elsewhere on Twitch.
It would be great to have a simple "Not Interested" option directly in the sidebar, independent of blocking.
