    Roku TVs are everywhere — millions of households rely on them as their primary screen. They’re affordable, fast, simple, and built directly into the TV hardware. When Twitch dropped support, it didn’t just remove a channel — it removed Twitch from the entire TV experience for everyone who uses Roku-based televisions.

    Since then, viewers have been stuck with workarounds that don’t solve the problem: laggy screen mirroring, unreliable casting, or having to buy an entirely separate streaming device just to watch Twitch. That’s not realistic for most people, and it shuts out a huge portion of your audience who watch from the living room.

    Roku TVs aren’t going anywhere. They’re one of the most popular smart-TV ecosystems in the U.S. and continue to grow. The fact that Twitch isn’t supported on a platform this large is confusing, frustrating, and genuinely surprising given Twitch’s reach and brand.

    We’re asking for one thing:

    Please bring back an official Twitch app for Roku TV hardware —
    or open the door for a trusted third-party developer to build and maintain one.

    Your viewers are still here.
    The demand hasn’t faded.
    And Roku TV users want to watch Twitch without buying extra devices or using broken workarounds.

    It’s time to bring Twitch back to Roku TVs.
