Not only are you directly contributing to further destruction of the environment (which is unsurprising when you’re owned by Amazon but still) but you are spitting in the faces of every artist and creator on Twitch by using Generative AI SLOP instead of using the frankly absurd amounts of money this platform makes to, idk, commission a real artist or two?
Stop using GenAI before people start leaving the platform.

The fact that this is opt out and not opt in is insane. I have signed agreements with artists that I won’t use my assets in any generative AI content or to train generative AI. I’m sure some artists are going to revoke rights to use their work on Twitch at all! I personally am going to be looking into alternate platforms now because I don’t want to be associated with genAI. This isn’t my career, so even “less successful” platforms are more appealing than a platform that will train generative AI on everyone that uses it unless they know about the feature and opt out.
