Is there any assurance that, when the description Twitch gives reads "Auto Clips will also help you find the most engaging moments from your stream", that it won't follow every other engagement-measuring system, mistake conflict and hate for engagement, and start making clips of banal moments only worth noting because of harassment campaigns happening in the chat section?
Is there any reason to expect Twitch to not make this feature opt-in, when every other company foists this kind of thing on their users?
What about all of the junk clips being made just by people saying "clip that" and "clip it" in other contexts?
This reads directly like "if we feel like it, we're gonna make admin busywork for you to do after your streams, potentially encroaching on pre-existing clip storage limits and other factors of streaming usage, because we could get a lot of shareholder and investor value out of this".
(I think the privacy, disrespect of creators and environmental concerns are more important, but Twitch is a modern company, and they're currently incentivised to not care about those things.)
