This idiocy is still present on GoogleTV, November 2024. The "Live Followed Channels" will NEVER show everyone who is live, on my Home tab. Always shows everyone who is live, in the same category on the Following tab.

The Home tab will even leave blank spaces rather than show everyone who is live. There are four slots (and ability to scroll, so more than that): if four people are live, it'll pick three and leave an empty spot. Maddening.
