Why should this even have to be a discussion? AI is not creative content and Twitch is home to so many talented artists who actually use their skills they've learned and practiced instead of typing in words in a generator and profiting off of others' backs. It's unethical, horribly environmentally unfriendly and insulting to an entire genre of people on this site.
Stop using AI or even entertaining the idea of allowing it to pollute this site and community - it's unwarranted and unwelcome. Even just looking at the browse page at the time of this comment, you have almost 16K people who could suggest an actual artist.
Also please change the banner back, the new one is ugly, disgusting and an insult to all who stream in that category.
You're already destroying yourselves with every "update" to viewers/lurkers, so why are you pulling out a bigger gun to shoot the other foot? Doesn't this fall under your Intellectual Property Rights in your own TOS where you will be using our created content without our permission? (Sure, people can claim it's not because of the HOPEFUL opt in/out function serving as consent, but there shouldn't even HAVE to be this discussion.) Let alone the damage it does to the environment, the theft of content, and the absolute lack of reading the room and regards to any of the streamers making you money. Don't do this; it's not needed, not wanted, and not welcomed.
