100% agree with Sleurks post here - I didn't realize this feature was around for two years already! Is there still no way to turn them off?
Some options could be to:
Toggle turn off/on entirely
Have it play 1-5 loops and then stop animation
Only animate on mouse over would be great for me, but I understand why people want to use these to draw attention to their channel.
Again, having the option to toggle these on/off in settings would be great. Keep them on by default, just add in settings somewhere we can toggle them if needed. It is extremely distracting when not in full screen/theatre mode as stated, which is 90% of how I watch Twitch in browser.
