    To bump this and add to it since someone already came up with a post...

    Provide Camera support for GoPro Fusion VR/360 View Formats...
    Using a camera like the GoPro Fusion would be prime pickings for this concept. If there was a way to essentially stitch live 360 content. If only you guys could get your hands on an open source version of their fusion studio software. maybe a partnership a foot? cough.

    Also to build on this concept for VR applications...
    If there was a way to directly 1:1 feed live data from a Fusion into a VR headset. Getting the raw data off the camera feeding directly into the headset vs using a rendered version of footage to then reproject into VR environment.
