They've got complaints going back months on here about chat being removed and haven't listened. I mostly watch VODs because I don't have time to catch streamers live and chat is half the entertainment. Since the latest update on PS4 I've been forced to experience exactly the same thing PS5 and Xbox users have complained about for months??
Who's bright idea was this to downgrade the usability of an application??? Just give me back the old app, at least it's UI was just about tolerable - this new UI seems to have been designed by a college student project.
Going forward, I won't be subscribing to anyone as I will be watching content elsewhere.
You even have the audacity to give me an ad that asks for feedback to improve twitch, yet you actively make the viewing experience worse!
Twitch has a reputation for being incompetent and anti consumer - this is yet another example.

Twitch is run by interns who constantly look at their phone. Welcome to the future - at this rate, Twitch will not be a part of it for much longer. Thanks for removing our VOD chat and recently watched VODs - we love to jump through hoops to watch. I'm sure you only care about live viewers who actively spend money on channels though, right?
