I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to propose the development of a highly requested feature from our community of console streamers: the integration of customizable overlays directly accessible from PlayStation 5 and Xbox consoles.
At present, many streamers broadcasting on PS5 and Xbox face significant limitations in customizing their livestreams. The necessity to use a dedicated PC for adding overlays—such as webcams, chat boxes, alerts for followers and donations, and stream goals—poses a financial barrier that not all content creators can afford. This limitation hinders the growth and professionalism of countless console streamers.

* **Enhanced Accessibility:** The inclusion of customizable overlays would elevate the quality of console streaming, making it more professional and engaging for a broader audience and reducing barriers for those without gaming PCs.

We envision an "Overlay Panel" integrated into the Twitch broadcasting interface on PS5 and Xbox, allowing streamers to:

* Configure basic alerts for followers, subscriptions, donations, raids, and hosts, with customizable animations and sounds accessible directly from the console or via the Twitch Creator Panel online.

Let's speak frankly: Twitch is not providing support for either small streamers or overlays. For two years, I've been reporting these issues, and the results are null.
First of all, regarding overlays, there are users who rely on StreamElements, which offers earning opportunities through sponsorships. However, other platforms like Overlay Expert do not allow the same freedom. Additionally, overlays can only be visible if activated, which limits accessibility; they should instead be permanent and not require activation.
As for small streamers and affiliates, the situation is equally concerning. Taking a year to earn only 50 dollars is excessive. Streamer tips do not yield obvious results, as even following these recommendations, the audience tends to fluctuate and does not remain stable. This leads some to use bots in an attempt to increase their visibility, and if these issues are not addressed, there will be a continuous exodus of users from Twitch.
In summary, I believe that Twitch is not taking effective measures to improve overlays or support small streamers. The current situation requires significant intervention to facilitate real change.
