    Another reason why gift subs should count is because GIFT SUBS DIRECTLY INTERFERE and DISCOURAGE regular viewers from subbing individually since they can expect to get one gifted usually. Many of the streams that I watch regularly, I tend to get gifted regularly, removing the need for me to sub

    I think Twitch and us Partners can find a middle ground here. Clearly recurring subs are "more valuable" to Twitch as it commits the viewers to their platform.

    So either 350 Recurring subs, or

    Alternatively adding a 700 Gifted Subs per month for the last three months, would work for most creators. I think there are many that have 100-200 recurring subs but pushing between 700-1500 gifted subs for years (like myself).
