I think it makes more sense for them to add the notification to say 'prime sub on ____ channel has expired', similar to how they have for paid/gifted subs. I feel this is better than auto renewing it.
Additionally, from my understanding there's also a gap between when a prime sub expires to when it can be used again. Not sure if it was built to work this way but if there's something in the back end that doesn't allow it to be used as soon as a month expires, it would also mean an auto renewal option wouldn't be something they'd be able to implement without making/breaking something in the back end.

TBH, it seemed on brand (to me) for twitch to only give you the "top" emote, because they only ever give out a singular hype train emote when they do release new ones for levels 1 through 5 (not saying I agree with this). I think in the normal hype train scenario its easier to have a 1 per customer type situation, especially since (depending on the community size) hype trains can hit those levels easily. In the scenario we have here though, its a harder feat and I agree that twitch should be giving you each emote as you hit each milestone. Additionally, going back to the normal hype train emotes, it should also be unlock 1 from each level tier as you pass the level. Makes sense and puts everything in line with what Thor said in original post.

As someone from the international community, and would consider coming to t-con San Diego, I'd be more inclined to making the trip if sufficient safety pre-cautions such as this have been taken. I dont expect them to provide everyone a mask, people should just get their own (im sure there's enough places in SD that'd sell them if people forgot to prepack one?) But it would be good to have set stations with hand sanitizer within the venue. Its one thing to be in the same space as everyone else... throwing in a few hand shakes from meeting new people or touching un-sanitized surfaces just adds another dimension of problems (especially where people who aren't physically sick with the virus might still be contagious). Touching a unclean surface and then touching your face (around the eyes, nose, mouth) are an easy way to get it too.akumaaaa

I hated it from the moment mine got changed to it about 4 days ago. At first I thought Chrome or my extensions were playing up, but soon realized this was an A/B test situation and made me think who even wanted this? its so bad, plus being 4+ years of seeing the old layout which worked and made sense, this just messes with me.
I also recently noticed it cuts off stream titles and tags if its too long/too many tags, because it squishes everything onto the one line.
If you hover over it, there is a down arrow to expand everything but this literally over lays onto the video stream (cuts off view to part of the video) and also makes the screen look worse than it already did with the UI on top.
Not sure what kind of direction twitch is going, but these UI changes are horrible. The other bad one has been the chat notification to say "chat is active, maybe you should clip this moment" and also seen this for hype trains as "theres a hype train, maybe you should clip this moment". All these things are degrading the twitch experience.
