   We would like to offer an “off-duty mode” for Mods, but it isn’t one of our top priorities at the moment. Will revisit in 2021.

   Great idea for the "off duty mod" badge! It definitely feels like once you are a mod, you cannot interact with the stream ever again like a normal chatter, and you always need to be "working" when you're watching.

   Sometimes I just want to go in and relax with the stream and not have the pressure of being in charge or having to police people.

   The problem is that if I show up in the moderator list as a mod, and I DON'T do the things I normally do, people could think that those things are now allowed. Also if I'm in the list and showing up as a mod, other mods could imagine I'm working and not do anything, when I really just want to rest.

   Right now the answer is ... I don't go in the stream I mod for unless I'm going to mod. Which is a bummer.
