I think you have to be really out of touch from reality/real world to see pepe as a hateful symbol, do people use it in a hateful way? Sure?? But People also use the internet/language/literally anything that could be used in a hateful way in a hateful way... People are really mean and removing this symbol will do absolutely nothing to change that, they will just find a new acceptable "harmless" symbol.. And not only that, but you got people who would rightfully see this whole shenanigan as insane, they're going to see people like yourself pointing at a harmless internet frog and calling it an attack, and any good points you have about fighting racism will be ignored because to them you're not worth listening to. AND ALSO you have people that genuinely love pepe, who have no intentions for being racist, who are now anti-anti-racism because anti-racism attacks pepe.. This is soo counter-productive, doing absolutely nothing would be better than the actions that you're suggesting.
