Thank you for raising this issue and sharing your feedback. We are in the process of rolling out a Beta version of Ukrainian localization across Twitch. Users who have their mobile devices set to Ukrainian should automatically see Twitch in Ukrainian once our roll out is 100% complete, and web users with their system language set to Ukrainian will also be able to experience our Beta version. We want to make the Twitch service accessible to as many people as possible, and localization is a part of that.
Once the rollout is finished, we will mark this issue as "Completed." Thank you.

It would be great if you will add ability to see resolution and fps of camera, also to change it in case of difficulties.
But the must have feature is the ability to show/hide nicknames of streamers on browser source, because it looks weird with some fancy overlays or show designs, or sometimes does not fit at all. Also this nicknames interfere with mirroring the source in streaming software.
We kindly request the addition of the Ukrainian language to Twitch’s site-wide language settings. The Ukrainian-speaking community on Twitch is experiencing rapid growth, and we believe that localization would further enhance engagement and viewership opportunities.

1. Ukrainian is Outperforming Already Localized Languages
In terms of average viewers (AVG), hours watched, and overall popularity, Ukrainian has surpassed Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Dutch, Korean, Swedish, Greek, Bulgarian, Tagalog, Romanian, Slovenian, and Vietnamese—languages that are already supported on Twitch.
Despite this, Ukrainian remains without official support, limiting accessibility for both streamers and viewers.
2. The Ukrainian Twitch Community is Expanding Rapidly
Since early 2022, there has been a significant rise in Ukrainian-speaking streamers.
Many Ukrainian creators, such as Leb1ga—ranked #49 by AVG and #44 by paid subs worldwide in the last 30 days—are gaining prominence in Twitch categories.
Numerous Ukrainian show business stars, such as OTOYSOUNDS and PIVOVAROVMUSIC, are joining Twitch to connect with their communities.
3. Localization Will Accelerate Growth
Adding Ukrainian as a language option will further expand the community and boost engagement.
It will encourage more streamers to create content in Ukrainian, making Twitch an even stronger platform for diverse audiences.
4. Ukrainian Gamers Represent a Significant Market
The strong presence of Ukrainian users on Steam proves that there is a large gaming audience that would benefit from Twitch localization.
Streamers like thetremba, who plays major new game titles—sometimes even before their official launch while simultaneously translating in real time into Ukrainian—demonstrate the potential of the Ukrainian market.
Other platforms, such as YouTube, have already invested in Ukrainian localization, leading to substantial growth in their Ukrainian segments.
5. Ukrainian Esports Engagement is at an All-Time High
The Ukrainian studio Maincast, which covers esports events on its channels, has broken the 100,000 concurrent viewers record on their CS2 stream.
This proves that Ukrainians are highly engaged with gaming and esports, further justifying the need for Twitch localization.
Conclusion
Given these facts, we kindly ask Twitch to recognize the Ukrainian-speaking audience and introduce Ukrainian as a supported language. This change would not only benefit Ukrainian users but also help Twitch expand into a thriving, untapped market.
