When it comes to average viewer count per stream, Twitch gets the average from the views you get while you are live.
When it comes to your total average viewers, it is the average from the past 30 days. Here is a short example:
30 days before today, including today:
3/15/21 - 4/13/21
3/15 - 1.5
3/17 - 2.9
3/23 - 2.1
3/25 - 1.9
3/29 - 2.0
4/1 - 1.8
4/6 - 2.7
4/8 - 2.9
4/13 - 2.7
= 20.5 ÷ 9 days = 2.27 This would be your 30 Day Average
Now if you stream tomorrow 3/15/21 will not be included in the 30 days.
3/16/21 - 4/14/21
3/17 - 2.9
3/23 - 2.1
3/25 - 1.9
3/29 - 2.0
4/1 - 1.8
4/6 - 2.7
4/8 - 2.9
4/13 - 2.7
4/14 - 3.0
= 22 ÷ 9 days = 2.4 This would be your 30 Day Average
I hope this makes since. It took me a while to figure this all out and when I did, I focused on it and I finally made affiliate.
