I still have to log in to my account every single time with an email 6 digit code. Seems a lil counter intuitive how 2FA can't do this. How is it good enough to get an email for this code but can't use 2fa for this same system. When I say Everytime I mean literally every single time I log in to twitch I have to authorize..this works great! Now only if 2fa could do it too.

i lost my phone and needed to make a new authy account. idk my old number but i do know my email adress. so i changed the number hooked it up to my email adress thinking everything is fine. when i go to twitch to try to change the place it sends authy number codes for verification it wants to go straight to an sms number to the other phone i dont have.
also when it tells me to connect a new account (twitch) using the authy app
all it does is tell me to scan a qr code or use the code given to me , i didnt recieve either of these things. now im stuck with 2fa enabled and nothing i can do about it. theres gotta be a way to just get an email to undo this messStunseed

you will end up with twitch accounts and teams made by everyone that will have ONLY them in it, they wont be active and ittl be like guilds or clans in every game EVER. i think keeping it to partner only is a bit more organized and it makes being on a team feel just a bit more like a kinda "hidden achievement" for streamers to get. find a partner join a team.
