As a new streamer that is trying very hard right now to get to "Affiliate" I think the requirement of an average of 3 viewers is kind of punishing to someone just starting out. I dont think the 3 viewers is wrong is just the fact that someone like myself who has streamed for 60 hours with only 1-2 viewers while i decide if I want to really commit to this or not, Has quite a road block when I have decided I like this alot and am in. Because this is based on an average, I now need 5-6 viewers for 25+ hours instead of the 3 just to get my average balanced. Its tempting to just simpy start another channel fresh and go from there but i figured Twitch wouldnt agree with me.
