Absolute ****-show of twitch continuing to prove that they can't be trusted with making anything even remotely resembling a good decision.
you have literally an *entire* category of working and casual artists making things themselves and you can't be assed to hire one of them to do something for the category banner? People that demonstrably do not work with generative imaging by virtue of literally streaming their creative process.
hope whatever cost reduction that was factored in was worth losing what little tolerance the creative community and those appreciative of it had for the deluge of ******** twitch seems to constantly want to push out of itself.
it's not like all of the relevant concerns are some niche, unknown information that only a select few well learned in the operation of generative imaging [and generative AI in general] are honed in on. This **** has been a hot topic for years now and virtually always results in brand deterioration the moment it so much as dips a pinky toe into the *possibility* of it's involvement.
utterly disgraceful, hire some real people and not some moron punching keywords into a mass theft machine. [also the new banners look like **** and not even just by virtue of generative imaging being involved alone, they genuinely just look like hot garbage]
