Hey guys! We really appreciate the feedback that has been brought forth in this thread and just wanted to update you a little bit on what is going on.
This change was originally made to guard against raid bot attacks. While smaller raids are currently viewable in activity feed in the dashboard, we are working on a solution that treats raids equally while guarding against abuse tactics.

I also agree with everyone else commenting here. I've gotten a large boost in popularity and helped other smaller streamers simply because of small raids, especially moreso if it's just me. Other smaller streamers recognize that I too am I streamer without even having to boast or promote myself from their stream. They're excited to have me in their community regardless of how small theirs may be and we both build our communities together by following each other. This new raid requirement hinders that connection and causes confusion with the mass of smaller streamers about raids, interrupting their own content and brand to figure out why their raid notification did not trigger.
Myself as well as others voiced their opinions on this and will continue to do so if Twitch wants to continue being the largest streaming platform in the world. #AllRaidsMatter
