Hey! yes that’s a good point. The automated lists (Want/Playing/Played/Rated/Reviewed) are all very old and in need of a big revamp.
Displaying the rating with our star rating for example would be indeed better suited than a grey number.While Lists feature upgrade is definitely something we want to do, it’s not currently in our short term roadmap unfortunately. We’ll keep the community in the loop as soon as we tackle that!

While the "Rated" list would benefit from having the larger star rating display, consider making the small grey number visible on other lists, so the rating can still be viewed in a way which leaves room for the other info shown on those lists.
There are games which don't fit any other genres, and are purely experimental indie games. The indie game should be preserved for these games.
The problem is just like you said: the term is overused, and applied to games which fall into other genres. But there are some games which can't be described any other way.
