Hi, thanks for flagging this and sharing your suggestion.
We share and understand your concerns about how the intentional, repeated misuse of tags can undermine the purpose of the tags product itself. Tags are an important discoverability feature for communities, and a powerful way for all Creators—but especially those that are underrepresented—to express their personal identity and creative vision for their content.
We also do not feel Twitch should be the judge of Creators’ personal or creative identity, so we typically only enforce against the misuse of tags when it is associated with other behavior that violates our Community Guidelines such as hateful conduct or harassment.
That said, as the VTuber community’s experience demonstrates, there are limitations to this approach and we are actively investigating additional steps we can take to protect and improve the integrity of the tags feature at scale, without infringing on good faith Creators’ personal choice…

It would be a lot better to just add a whole stream progress bar to the stream.
So people can go back when they want and to when they want. If they are not in the "live" state chat is disabled to prevent from sending messaged confusing streamer and other chatters. If vods are disabled in general just don't display the bar at all. -

Following the upcoming change with new tags, I want to filter out tags when opening up the category.
Not filter them in. For example. I don't wanna watch speedruns of dark souls but other kinds of streams. So allows us to filter streams out.aka. I open the category. I select not interested and set tags I don't want to see.

It would be really nice if you guys could provide us with an option to add/remove points from the users with some API, it would give us more options to create roulette/gamble and other interactive things where users can spend points and possibly gain points back as a price. As well for some in-game integrations.
How about we approach it differently? Embed view is valid no matter how big the player is but~~ the player should never autoplay. Player that does not play does not count into view count.
My reasoning behind this is that after working in frontend webdev for few years I can tell you that there is multiple ways to trick the system for the embedded video player to be "hidden" from the view or scaled down so javascript would not be able to correctly get its size and well... even if there is size limit it would still consume bandwidth of people without their "permission" which is incredibly bad for people with limited one.
I made a UserVoice about this a few days ago as side-effect of recent "dramas" revolving around this.
