Improve Editors for 2024.
Hey!
Editors should have some more functionality I think in line with some of the ideas that Twitch added over the years to make them further distinct from moderators and warrant actually placing someone as an editor only or moderator + editor.
Some examples:
Removing VIP badges/moderators from channels or adding VIPs/moderators to channels.
Maybe a "role hierarchy" of Broadcaster -> Editor -> Moderator to make editor more distinct.
So for example, if a moderator pins a message, an editor can remove the pinned message, but can't remove it if the broadcaster pins a message in chat. Likewise, if a channel editor pins a message, moderators can't remove it.Ideally, being able to create or having access to various channel point redemptions, being able to pause or suspend them or especially adjust the quantity so the broadcaster doesn't have to go into various panels to do that themselves would be great.
Being able to adjust channel alerts as well via Twitch alerts.
Adding channels (maybe with broadcaster verification, much like emote attribution) to recommended channels would also be nice.
Being able to upload emotes (maybe if the broadcaster has instant emote approvals enabled to prevent abuse) so emotes can be uploaded in the background as well.
Be able to change channel panels, channel trailers/social media links.
Anyway, feel free to post with more ideas I may have missed.
These are just some things I've noticed editors can't do - but wanted to do in my channel with the role.
Thanks!

Agreed. I am an editor to a RL friend who isn't good at setting up stuff like the alerts and such. Being able to edit panels, extensions, alerts, etc would allow me to help her out so much more without having to go over to her place to do it from her computer.
