   can you make a program that beebs all the forbidden words races slurs it hard to anticipate what people will say in game chats and i don't like having to delete vids because someone says something that is against the rules could they work on something to make it easier for us streamers

3. The ability to create automod lists (similar to autohost lists) which would highlights users who have been banned in channels on your list.

   Along the lines of the new restricted user function, a good tool for creators and channel moderators would be the ability to see users who have current bans in channels you may care about.

   I.E. Similar to the autohost function, you could set a list of channels where you want to maintain similar moderation standards (this would be useful for communities such as NoPixel, content creator houses, and streamer friends, etc.). So Person A could put Friend B and Friend C's channels on their channel's automod list. Banned User 1, after being banned in Friend B and C's channels, decides to drop into Person A's channel. Upon doing so, in the Twitch mod view, the creator and moderators of the channel can see the user highlighted (similar to how first time chatters and monitored users are highlighted) with a message along the lines of 'This user has been banned in channel(s) on your automod list'.

   To avoid compromising the privacy of any given channels moderation, the message wouldn't necessarily let you know which channel the person has been banned in, just that they have been banned in one of the channels on your list. Additionally, it could be made into an opt-in function on both ends, so only creators who have opted in to the function would be able to create lists/be put on lists.

   This would make modding channels for creators who are a part of specific communities more efficient, and would further safeguard Twitch chat from any users who may create issues.

4. ban

   The problem behind unban requests is, that you only have one chance. It could be useful if a request gets denied, the person can request another unban like a year after the request got denied. Requesting an unban after a year would show that the user is still interested in participating in this chat.

5. The Mod-View is nice but some short-sighted things are driving me crazy...

   Upfront: Please open a User-Voice section dedicated to the Mod-View - Why does the Creator Dashboard have one and the Mod-View not?

   1. In the user view (clicking on a user in mod-view or when reviewing an unban request), seeing when a user was timeouted or banned is so useless without seeing the message the ban was for. Please just show the last 5 messages they had before the ban and put a link to the chat-thread where I can look at more. I don't want to scroll 900 messages to see what an old ban was for. This should be pretty easy to implement judging by the way it's displayed.

   2. Add toggleable dictionaries in the blacklist. Often situations arise where we want to put a whole bunch of words onto a blacklist (e.g. Riot Games servers are down or some news went viral and we don't want to talk about it). It'd be great to have the ability to add these to a dictionary and turn different dictionaries on and off at a whim instead of having to add/delete 10 words one by one each time.

   3. Mods get insulted a lot in whispers, thats life (has gotten better with unban requests though, ty.). We ban users if they insult us but this is untraceable for other mods when they get asked for an unban. We circumvent this issue by screenshotting it with a tool like gyazo and pasting the link into mod-comments but the ability to link a ban directly to a mod-whisper for all moderators to see would be the right way to do it.

   4. As is said unban requests are great but please give us an option to allow people to repeat their unban requests every now and then. If someone gets denied they don't have access to the chat and can't see mods to dm, even years later. They should have the possibility to repeat their request at a later point in time and multiple times.

   5. Give mods the ability to highlight their messages back. We used to do this with /me and timeout chat users that used /me themselves. (Worked Great) I kind of understand why it got removed, however the italic version is beyond useless and only annoying. Just give us the option to disable it for chat users and enable it (in color) for mods and bots needing to do an announcement to chat.

   6. Introduce a mods-only chat where we can coordinate things between us and the streamer without using a different platform like discord in parallel.

   I hope some of these ideas are implemented, the first two alone would make life a lot easier!

9. Screenshots and 2 mod verification with Suspensions

   When a streamer is suspended, screenshots should be included of the violation. Streamers are bound to repeat the issue if the issue is not made clear.

   Multiple staff members should see the reports before a ban is decided upon. These moderators would work separately, without the influence of one another, to decide if the ban should occur or not. If both moderators do not hit 'yes' to the ban then the ban should not occur.

   An example, my latest ban happened while a Twitch Staff member was in my chat. This member did not see anything against TOS and was shocked that my ban was upheld. I still don't know what the ban was specifically for, two weeks later.

   It seems there is a lack on consistency on what violates TOS and what doesn't. Screenshots and multimod verification before ban would cut down significantly on the amount of appeals and help tickets because people would understand the first time why they were ban.

11. Problem with the chat words

    Hi,

    I had today a bug that my text wasn't allowed due "Your message wasn't posted due to conflicts with the channel's moderation settings."
    The mods and streamer didn't saw my message, even in the chat with a mod my text was blocked ... (also not in there mod messages)

    My two texts that were blocked are:

    • du willst ja Freitag vieleicht ein IRL Stream machen, Alina sagte gerade dass Bobi sein Kleidprobetag am Freitag wäre matta9Silly

    • wenn du für Alina was malst, würde ich nicht das Buschi mit dem Herz machen, da sie schon von jemanden diese Zeichnung bekam ;)

    if I even rewrite or delete the words IRL and Kleidprobetag it still blocked my text. Other texts weren't blocked. I still could write in the chat and I wasn't time outed ever at that streamer! The first text was even blocked on a direct message to one of the mods of that channel ...

    I don't know what the problem is, that this text was blocked :/

12. Moderation and chat

    A few days I came across a creator who has his moderator in a group with other live moderators, they play on the same server as GTA V. If someone does something bad in the chat of some live, they are banned in all of them like others.

    My idea is the following: The permanent ban is not ideal for us to be making the person to have a good attitude again. Create a "prison" mode for people who made mistakes to have a chance to return to chat normally.

14. Banned terms subcategories

    When adding a banned term, it would be amazing to be able to create subterms for that umbrella term. For example, if the word **** is banned, ****, sh!t, sh1t, and a variety of other spellings are still allowed.

    Instead of having to create a new term for each of these spellings, it would be amazing to make a "****" category, where all of the spellings can be added with a drop down menu.

    Another extension of this idea would be adding a toggle for banned words so that you can temporarily disable or enable a word (and it's variants from the previous idea) instead of deleting them and having to reban them individually later.

    Just a nice QOL update for streamers and moderators that would be a nice improvement in the UI.

15. Change how Automod filters messages

    What I mean by that? Multiple times my messages got caught by Automod without making any sense! There were no offensive words, no spoilers, nothing that would NEED Automod to act. And by the time a moderator MANUALLY approved the message, it broke the context of the chat. BADLY.

    So here's how: if someone sends a message hat gets automodded, have it be hidden in a manner similar to deleted messages, but also allowing people to (at their own risk) clicking to see the message until a mod approves it. And once the mod approves, the message is shown as normally in the chat WHERE IT WAS INTENDED TO BE, with a brief chat notification showing what the message was and when it was sent before Automod hit it.

    Another thing is to have Automod and chat filter have its different levels affects messages differently, like:
    In a certain level, only replace the offending or blacklisted words with "***"
    In another, do the automodding described above.

17. Add last message on timeout to Mod actions

    Adding the last message sent before a timeout to the mod view similar to the deleted message. Lets mods see what was said and how to handle future timeouts should that individual repeat the actions.

19. Activity feed local filter

    Filter the activity feed by action or actions. For example right now the broadcaster may have say follows turned on so they can thank them as they come in, but as a moderator perhaps they do not want to see recent follow. They would have to scroll through the feed to see the last action they cared about.
