Moderating Streamers Database or Section for streamers we moderate Have a section in Twitch where you can see all the streamers who you have moderator role. This would be helpful in the long run since some Twitch users have a moderator role on more than one channel.
Similar to modlookup, a third party website where Twitch users can see all of the streamers who are they currently moderating. Bring back Global Moderator program It would be great to bring back the Global Moderator program. I think it would keep streams a safer space, especially for newer streamers who do not need a full time mod but someone to shout people out or to handle unruly chat.

Require logging in to view a stream So in practice this idea seems simple and would be effective. The basic premise of this would be that the Streamer can toggle on/off a feature that would require someone to have a twitch account and be following to view the content otherwise it would just be a black screen that says "Please login and follow to view the following content". I think this could help prevent harassment on various levels as I will describe.

Ability to disallow new, unverified accounts from viewing your stream A notorious DDoS/DOX'er troll has been plaguing many different games long enough to warrant this thread. He's pretty good at it, I'll give him that, but hitting us all offline constantly IS a felony, and incredibly annoying. He's known as 'nan0,' but has made thousands of accounts over the years, getting around streamer IP masking and VPN protections somehow just to troll streamers.

Viewbotting/Followbotting Moderators or streamers have a "report" button that notifies twitch staff of a viewbot or followbot attack and it can ping a staff member to come and watch the channel to see the attack in action so that the attacker cannot report the channel for viewbotting/following.

Give moderators a toggle to translate messages in foreign languages, particularly first time messages Inspired by a real life incident today having to ban a person for calling the streamer a 'dirty wh**e' in French, moderators having to do the extra leg work to translate languages they don't speak on a third party website to curb abuse could be massively simplified by having an option baked into the system to detect language and offer a translation as required would make for an excellent tool to keep our communities safer.

Bann multiple accounts with same IP I think twitch has to improve the way new accounts are created. Recently in a chat I moderate there was a guy creating accounts with the username composed with the streamer's name followed by an insult and despite being banned every single time, he keep creating new accounts every 5 minutes. It's ridiculous that twitch account creation system doesn't prevent that behavior from happening.
Also, after reporting every account one by one, they only removed one of them (the third one), and not the original account nor de subsequent accounts.6 votes -
Restrict accounts that use certain email addresses So my suggestion is to add the ability for accounts to be automatically restricted from chatting based on the email address they used to create the account. Make it so Mods do not get ad breaks in mod view This is already a thing in the stream manager and it would be very useful if when a mod is in mod view they do not need to watch ad breaks while moderating a channel.

Allow Editors to turn on/off branded content Editors on a channel can edit title, tags and a few other things but can't turn on/off the branded content option, think that it would be nice to have that feature be available to Editors to help the streamer so they can focus on games or whatever they are doing and just have to tell a editor to turn it on/off.

mod protection we need mod protection from the streamer before twitch takes action. false reporting to twitch is a big issue and viewers and bots alike dont like when a mod does something so they report them direct to twitch.... that should be screened by the streamer before twitch and make it up to the streamer to forward the report to twitch

Prediction/Polls on Mobile Allow a Mod on Mobile to make predictions and polls. Right now all you can do is join in but if no other mod is on the computer and the streamer needs assistance with the predictions mods on their mobiles can not help at all.

Add A Warning System. /warn Just like the timeout/ban in profiles, add a new category called warnings. Warnings can be issued by /warn [user] [reason] or by clicking a chat / profile button and entering a reason. Not everyone wants to timeout a user / ban a user. It would also allow us moderators to keep moderation actions private and not use the Wisper system and allow us to keep track of warnings and who their issued by. Verified Account Twitch affiliates have to verify their identity with a government issued ID and a face scan now when onboarding. I feel if an affiliate has completed this verification, this should clear the "phone verification" necessity in all chat since the account has been verified in an above and beyond way. Phone verification for non-affiliates and people who haven't completed onboarding is still fine, but I feel like this is unnecessary for those who have verified their ID. Please change this.
