Ban Enforcement and Transparency for Serious Safety Concerns
Twitch needs to start addressing serious harassment and safety complaints from creators, no matter how big or small their community! Concerns involving child safety, sexual exploitation, revenge ****, etc. need to be prioritized over more trivial issues and reviewed immediately.
You've allowed a predator, who's harassed dozens of creators, and who ADMITTED to taking a clip when my 3 year old daughter ran into the room unclothed by accident, saving it and threatening me with it for "retaliation" to stream on your platform for MONTHS despite THOUSANDS of reports! This is truly unacceptable and appalling that a platform the size of Twitch doesn't have adequate resources to address serious safety concerns.
We need transparency into how Twitch reviews and addresses reports! Twitch needs to improve the process flow of their reporting process to ensure the most severe issues get prompt attention and law enforcement involvement where applicable.
Hey all,
Thank you for your feedback. The harassment of our community members is strictly prohibited per our Community Guidelines, and we take user reports and allegations of misconduct very seriously—particularly when they involve allegations of egregious behavior.
Directing you to our Safety Center pages for Filing a Report, Handling Serious Misconduct and our Off-Service Policy. These offer more insight into best practices for filing reports on Twitch and what to expect after filing. Please note that every Twitch report is reviewed and investigated by a human specialist, and that mass reporting the same content will not increase the speed in which a report is investigated or increase the likelihood of enforcement.
As a general policy, we do not comment on individual cases publicly or disclose specific details about the enforcement action to the user(s) who reported the violation. This is to protect the privacy and safety of those involved, including those who filed the report or provided evidence. For some especially sensitive report types, including those that relate to minors or alleged criminal behavior, we do not share any updates with external parties for safety and other reasons.
While these policies will remain active, we will be introducing substantial improvements to the user reporting experience and appeals process in the next few months.
Please additionally note that as it pertains to UserVoice specifically, commentary on specific suspension decisions, support requests, and suggestions disparaging others has been closed without comment, per our policy.

Twitch is a pedophile playground. Safe harbor for child predators. They are actively protecting this one.

Twitch needs to get it's act together. This platform was great now it is seen as a joke for having a board that does not protect creators that need help. Also please re do this board of people cause I think they have forgotten what it is like to be human

What is twitch going to do when it goes to far and someone gets physically hurt or killed over Doxed, Stalking, and bully tactics. They are setting them selves up for one **** of a lawsuit if they wont stop this now.

Twitch always does this about-face when they have streamers who harass or otherwise break TOS just because it's easier to look away than ban these people for their transgressions. This needs to stop and Twitch to be more proactive and support the streamers who abide by the rules.

The fact that twitch allows a streamer to blackmail another using nude pictures of a underaged child is disgusting, I cannot belive that user is not banned , especially when twitch claims they take reports of abuse on female content creators seriously

Twitch wants to "ban" people for "sexually explicit" content yet they allow people exploiting children for their own twisted bs? What a great company. Their top tier personnel must have been regulars on a certain person's private jet. Sad. That being said, maybe a federal agency should take a deeper look into your company. Definitely some of your "creators."

This is a really good point. And should be looked at. Things of this nature are ruining peoples lives as well as hurting your communities and not just the creaters commmunities
