  1. The just updated community guidelines have highlighted a massive issue in how you handle community reports. There have been many streamers who have streamed in accordance with the new guidelines around sexual content relating to art, and almost all of them have been suspended. Some have been suspended, had their suspensions lifted, and then had the bot slap it back on, all for literally working on the same piece of art. This is no less disruptive than the hate raids we had to deal with a year ago, only it's worse because these are messing with people's ability to earn…

  2. Ever since the new guideline changes have been announced, a flood of streamers drawing and watching hentai on twitch has emerged. some of them not even using labels. this can be VERY harmful to minors to log onto a site with a new account only to see *. while i do agree that artists deserve more freedom to do things like anatomy and actual artistic nudity, its not a great idea to have * full of minors. much like myself. Ive also seen people playing hentai games and using sex mods (like the jenny mod for Minecraft) while on…

  3. ...Streams that are labeled as including -Drugs, -Intoxication, or -Excessive Tobacco Use; -Violent and Graphic Depictions; -Gambling; and/or -Sexual Themes will no longer be included in homepage recommendations shelves due to the visual nature of those topics..."

"...Viewers can still search for, or go directly to channels they follow that are streaming labeled content via the left bar of the home page..."

"...Streams with these labels will still be included in Category page recommendations so viewers can navigate to the appropriate category for this content..."

This technically still hides content creators away and will not let the people who do…

  4. The following two sections of the Community Guidelines should be on the same page so streamers know when they must use the "Pools, Hot Tubs & Beaches" category:

    1st Section

    https://safety.twitch.tv/s/article/Community-Guidelines?language=en_US#22Attire

    "Standard guidelines

We don’t permit streamers to be fully or partially nude, including exposing genitals or buttocks. We do not permit the visible outline of genitals, even when covered. Broadcasting nude or partially nude minors is always prohibited, regardless of context.

For those who present as women, we ask that you cover your nipples. We do not permit exposed underbust. Cleavage is unrestricted as long as these coverage requirements…

  5. you need to specify more that is inclined for artists to be able to have some body exposure. as long as attire requirements are met for Body Artists and assumingly the same applies for Erotic Dancers. so that means no underbust, nipples, and groin area except, buttocks and the top breasts are allowed to be exposed.

"Fictionalized (drawn, animated, or sculpted) fully exposed female-presenting breasts and/or genitals or buttocks regardless of gender. There is a thriving artist community on Twitch, and this policy was overly punitive and did not reflect the impact of the content." I assume that only these…

  6. While I believe that creators should have some freedom to do what they want, I also believe viewers should have the freedom to exclude certain content from their searches on Twitch. As is right now, I cannot find a way to filter out streams marked with "Sexual Themes" through the search bar on Twitch. Simply searching the word "art" brings up any stream with the "art" tag, which could be a stream with the "Sexual Themes" CCL.

In fact I just did this, the top 5 results included two streams of IRL streamers in barely any clothes, dancing in a…

  7. Twitch,

Firstly, let me clarify to you that I enjoy artistic nudity and am not a puritanical person. I also want to clarify that some people who didn't deserve to get banned got banned today who didn't draw any genitalia and who abided by the new TOS, and that you need to fix your accounting.

However, this is regarding the "opening of Pandora's Box" that you have willed over the course of a singular day.

Whether I like their art or not, the "sexual content" warning isn't sufficient, there absolutely needs to be (1) a censored thumbnail for 18+ streams…

  8. I have seen less and less ads around alcohol on twitch which is great its good to see a company pull away from those advertisements as Alcohol is a form of drug it contains ethanol and should be classed under the community policy regarding drug use, tobacco is in the same exact boat as alcohol its classed as a drug since one of the main chemicals in tobacco is Nicotine so its a given that Alcohol, Tobacco, and Marijuana should be classed all as drugs instead of it just being marijuana as the two aforementioned drugs are highly toxic and…

  9. delete ****/pedophile/zoophile content from your platform.

I don't understand what you want to give the platform, but it seems to be becoming a ****/pedophile haven.

I hope you will take care of your platform and give it a glorious past.

  10. While your recent changes to the Sexual Content Policy are a step in the right direction, I think you should go much further. Streamers should be able to show whatever they want. There is nothing unsafe about provocative imagery. If a viewer doesn't want to see what any given streamer is showing, it is their prerogative to not watch it.

  11. Your "Safety" policy prohibits "realistically doctored nudity" without any explanation or examples of what that even means. I suggest updating the policy to provide clarity on that.

  12. With the new guidelines Twitch should blur thumbnails that is showing any sort of nudity and should add ID age verification to watch 18+ streams

  13. I was happy for new artistic nudity update but didn't expect this site to become full of aroused genitals. Is it still artistic nudity or po***graphy at this point?

How can a drawing with fully erect, wet genitals be classified as artistic when we all know what is the point of this kind of art? There is a difference between a nude portrait or a naked silhouette and some 18+ anime drawing with characters showing off body in sexual manner.

And it's the first thing EVERYONE sees when they enter art category.

If this kind of stuff is okay, can…

  14. Dear Twitch Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express deep concerns and respectfully request a reconsideration of the recent Terms of Service (TOS) update, specifically pertaining to sexual content, on the Twitch platform.

While we acknowledge the necessity of maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all users, the latest TOS adjustments appear to have inadvertently created a significant negative impact, especially among the younger audience. There is a growing prevalence of individuals disregarding the guidelines, promoting explicit content, including links to adult services like OnlyFans, and displaying graphic sexual imagery during live streams.…

  15. With the Art category going nuts with full nudity right now, the thumbnail system, which pulls a screencapture every 5 minutes, is displaying full nudity with zero age verification. You're running perilously close to some serious legal problems if you don't find a solution to that pretty quickly.

  16. Sexual Themes new classification child nudity.

Due to the recent content policy update - sexual themed artists are now drying children/lolis naked on Twitch. Absolutely get RID of this. As well as give us the option to block ALL channels using the Sexual Themes tag - I do not want to see a big dog or dragon genitalia on Twitch - that is not why I'm using the platform, I do not want to see nudity - that is not why I'm using the platform.

I cannot imagine how this went over your heads before releasing this content policy update…

  17. Its nice to see the new policies regarding nudity and sexual content but you might want to add a few things:

When you go into the art category, the preview of those streams that showcase nudity are not blurred and you don't even have to log-in in order to watch them

For this i suggest that you blur all nudity streams, add a filter for the people who don't want to see that type of content and force people to log-in in order to watch +18 streams

I have also seen nudity showcasing paraphilias like "loli" and "feral" animals, it…

  20. I suggest that the new guidelines allowing"Artistic Nudity - which concern
fictionalized artistic depictions: Should have an Additional required Content Label besides just the generic "Sexual Themes".

It seems that the artistic policy will be misused by users posting artistic nudity for non-artistic purposes.

Artistically Nude content has merits and value to the art communities but is shocking for many users when full nudity is shown without specific warning and without prior context, and should be considered distinct from content which merely contains discussions or Sexual Themes, etc.

I suggest that a technical level streams with this label should be…
