Only Allow Logged In Viewers to Watch Stream
Allow creators to restrict viewing of their streams to logged in users only. As an option, this would help address hate raiders who get banned and continue to watch in incognito. Effectively preventing banned users from seeing the stream.
And, at the same time would give creators a simple tool to better control how their content is viewed. For example, if they were creating Mature content and wanted to add their own limitation on consumption.
Provide similar messaging to what is available on logged out Subscriber Streams which say "USER is streaming for 'registered users', Sign up now to join in: Watch the stream and participate in chat." Then a button to create an account.

I agree, streamers need more options and protection to be able to manage who’s actually viewing their live streams. Simply being able to log out of an account and watch a live to stream snipe streamers with zero options to handle this is kind of outdated. Please allow an option like a slider that has the option to allow or not allow viewers not logged in to watch your stream. This wouldn’t fully solve the issue but it’s part way to a solution.

@slippetuftog: There are some simple reasons. There are 18+ streams you don't want unverified viewers (like kids) to watch. Secondly, there are a lof of streamsnipers. In many games, where the broadcaster and or other parties are organizing game competitions with rewards, unfortunately streamsnipers simply abuse information from streams which destroys the competition, makes the games unfair and frankly speaking ruines them.

This is a great idea. Similarly, that users could be asked to verify with phone we should also have to option to block out anonymous/incognito users

How does that make sense?

At least provide an option for Streamers to allow only viewers that are logged in to help with stream sniping.

@Twitch this option would allow us to ban accounts who are stream sniping our content as we can see who our viewers are but if they are signed out of thier account they can still watch and stream snipe us. Please can we have a fix for this.

If the streamer has option to only allow logged in users to watch the stream, then we could further improve that by having the chat moderation settings also apply to being able to watch.
This would put the ability to chat and the ability to watch on the same level of hurdles for the user. This would address the argument of people just making a new account or incognito to watch stream. The new accounts would have the same hurdles the streamer set for chat.
Additionally, when enabling shield mode, you are essentially adjusting your moderation settings to chat, and therefore would also adjust the ability to watch stream the same.
"Only logged in users can watch" can also be added as something you normally have on or is turned on/off with shield mode.

I think this is a good idea, ESPECIALLY for streams marked 18+

This is a very good Idea similar to this post here (which was locked so no more people could vote on it and made 5 years ago https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/297558-general/suggestions/17922226-allow-a-stream-to-only-be-viewed-by-logged-in-view)
I agree, and wish all streamers could have more control over who has access to a channels.
This tool would be a good step, or giving streamers the option to safe list websites for embedding, or also expanding on this to also include banned/blocker users so they are no longer be able to view a stream or access channel. -

Please give streamers the option to only allow viewers who are logged in to watch the stream.
This achieves more privacy for streamers by blocking anonymous and public viewers. It also allows the streamers to block viewers from watching by banning them via username (just like chat).
