I've literally had people ask me "I saw you using #TwitchWriters. Is it okay if I use it too?" There is a real interest in writers having a category for this form of art. Writing was once solely an introverted art. Now writers across the globe have a place to share thoughts, ideas, and understanding company. We who have been using Twitch for years understand what people are looking for when they go under "Art" or "Makers and Crafts" or "Just chatting". It's not what the Twitch Writers provide. We have a unique community that is welcoming to everyone from novel authors to fanfiction beginners. Writing is definitely worthy of its own category.
