    There should be a request system to request the taken username, if that username has not been active for 1 year, and has had no new followers, subs or videos in that time period, it should be given to the requester, if it is the username of an old streamer and they decide to come back after a year and finds their username has been taken, there should be a system to request it back, then the same goes again, but maybe 1 week if the original requester has no new followers, subs or videos, the original owner will be given their username back, this seems like allot of work, but could work
