Who is this feature for?
Incoming viewers' first impression of the stream will be a piece of impersonal slop forced upon them, which seems like it would put most people off using a platform that they come to to celebrate personality and creativity. I'm sure a minority of viewers will think it's a neat feature, but it's very hard to imagine that most people who come to Twitch regularly to enjoy the specifically-curated content of their favourite streamers will find a sterile, mindless (or worse, outright cringe) summary of that streamer's content appealing.
The streamer will also lose a lot of creative control over how their channel and stream is presented to prospective viewers. In fact, given that these AI summaries will likely be implemented as a non-configurable "black box", this is effectively Twitch implementing a way to force their own control over how any streamer's channel is presented to viewers, which obviously erodes trust between creator and platform. For example, with this kind of system in place it would be trivial for Twitch to configure the AI to summarise channels that promote ideas that Twitch execs don't personally agree with in a negative or misleading light.
This feature seems unappealing to the majority of Twitch users, and seems like an unwanted intrusion for Twitch streamers, so I ask again: who is this feature for??
