I'm so tired man. How do you have a platform completely comprised of the people using it and go "hey lets publicly TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE THIS PLATFORM WORK" Yep, go ahead twitch, lean into the ever accelerating enshittification of the world. invest in this tech thats destroying our environments. invest in this vile garbage being used all over the internet to violate people online. invest in this trash that no one except rich, selfish, greedy ****** who ONLY care about increasing their networth to further their own egos likes. Betray your users for the millionth time. but this may well be the last time you do, cause this will more than likely kill twitch, or at the very least, its gonna hurt. Im already struggling with pursuing my own dreams in the face of the rampant plague that is generative artificial intelligence. i dont mind starting over on a different platform that wouldnt be TRAINING THIS TRASH off of me, and all the countless other creators out there whose charm and uniquity would then become your data. Sincerely, and i mean this from the bottom of my soul, go to **** with this.
this is my second time posting on this but wow, wish i could say im surprised but not really. we all know that the twitch execs stopped giving a **** about their platforms users but this is just... par for the course. twitch used to be part of my dream for actually getting to do what i love as a living, and for the past few years has been what i've been working *******. not anymore though. sincerly twitch execs, go **** yourselves. opt in by default? shove it up your *****. not that it matters cause theres no way in **** anyone should even trust that opting out works anyways, you absolute scumbags
