    I wasn't able to put any characters besides letters in mine. What is going on with password requirements? The instructions were super vague "you don't need to include numbers or special characters or caps, etc." and I had to guess and guess until it accepted something. This feels insanely insecure.

    This can also help prevent login issues where an email is never linked to an account, later preventing users from being able to recover their accounts (like happened to me).
