Hello Twitch & IGDB... We need separate URLs for games with duplicate names! This issue will only get worse over time as more and more exist.

It looks like IGDB accepted a change for the old Levelhead to Levelhead - 2008 even though it's not the "official name", but then an admin put in a request to change it back 2 hours later. Progress?

To reiterate, the following games currently are experiencing URL overrides/name collisions on Twitch due to how IGDB supplies Twitch with the data & it's lack of unique URLS for multiple games with the same name:
Sonic the Hedgehog, Tomb Raider, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT), Super Mario Bros 2, Ninja Gaiden & NG Black, Zero Hour, Ratchet & Clank, WoW, Graviton, Resident Evil, Oni, Point Blank, Live A Live, Otherside, Levelhead, The Harvest, Oxygen, Ixion, & MafiaAn error occurred while saving the comment Lex_Limbo

August 6th, 2022 someone added a duplicate name to igdb for a game only available on a usb stick that isn't supported by the dev any longer and ruined our twitch community

They also refuse to acknowledge that their system prioritizes urls based on release dates

They will tell you to come here and post to create a category for a game that already has a category on twitch

The fact that igdb is owned by twitch, is the root cause of this issue and is unable to help solve this is ridiculous

How do we get this fixed for Levelhead... It has been months with no resolution... We have an alternate official name that is being rejected in igdb which would fix this issue

I was told to please reach out to Twitch support about creating a category for Levelhead as it currently has a name collision, has an alternative name already approved - "Levelhead: Platformer Maker" and the other game is defunct & abandoned (no streams have ever happened on Twitch).

There are multiple games only having one URL for multiple categories, even where ones that have been around for years are suddenly replaced by games that are obscure and outdated. This being Levelhead which is still an active community, but no longer has a twitch URL to stream the category to.
