The current pan flag is the correct and most recognizable there is. Nothing wrong in using it! The flag you’re suggesting is just an *optional* alt flag. Idk what you mean by the pan flag being transphobic as it stands??? Pansexuality and the current pan flag is not phobic in any sense of the word. The creator of the flag doesn’t determine what the symbol for so many people means from their own opinion, nor did they ever state that if using the flag even equals their opinion. The flag we all know and love belongs to the community and it’s harmful and shame and harass others in showing their pride because you don’t agree with some irrelevant person. The creator doesn’t even earn any money or anything from us using our own flag, it’s just hurting the lgbtq community itself. No one even knew who the creator was before this nor can you probably even state their name off the top of you’re head. They aren’t the flag and the flag isn’t them. Notch, the creator of Minecraft, is literally and aggressively transphobic. Doesn’t mean Minecraft is bad and you’re harming people by enjoying the game. If anything it’s an even greater ******** to the creator to use what they made parallel to their opinions. Similar situation of separating the art from the artist and not removing something so many people connect with for so long because of one individual no one knows. Again pansexuality is what we the pan community makes it, so why not continue using our flag and reclaim it from that goofy creator who never was the determining factor for what the flag means to us. Avoid this drama that does more harm than any good and continue using the familiar flag with no shame.
