This issue has arrived because of a prior problem. There was a time when other flight simulators did not have categories on Twitch, while this did cause confusion it also presented an opportunity for the flight Sim Community to present all of their streams together in the only available category, Microsoft Flight Simulator. I would also note that this is not identifying a specific game or simulator as it predates the release of MSFS 2020, and the majority of its users prior to that release were not using a previous version of MSFS. While the other simulators have now been added, the main reason why streamers continue to use MSFS category is due to the community aspect of the Flight Simulators on twitch. As a streamer I do not find that viewers are universally particular to an individual simulator, and as a viewer I watch all flight simulator streams equally. The MSFS category continues to provide a useful tool for watchers who want to find Flight Sim Streamers without looking through 4 separate games, especially when many Flight Sim streamers do stream multiple simulators. I believe this may be a situation that requires a solution suited to the differing needs and wants of the community and the viewers, ideally a Flight Simulator Category for browsing that incorporates all of the 4 simulators being used currently, or at the very least, the ability to stream under Flight Simulation (similar to other broad community categories like Just Chatting or Art).
