Hello. I am a variety caster with the record for most live streamed scary games, at well over 4000 horror titles. The problem I have as well as other streamers ; is the game category. Many of our games are independent horror titles that no one has ever heard of, student, personal projects and or small studios. Most titles can be found on itch.io, gamejolt and the like.
When we stream these games we have no official game category to list them under. Example last night I streamed 10 of these games, and have to resort to placing the stream in "Just Chatting" because there is no clear category. There are titles that exist that some people use like "horror stories" but these are for actual games that exist and not searched.
It would be very helpful to have a game category added such as "Indie Horror". This way there is a specific category for people who want to search of indie horror games. It would also be extremely helpful to streamers who stream back to back indie horror games, and don't have a category for each of them.
I personally have been dealing with this issue for over 4 years and know many other streamers that have the same issue. Thanks.
