This is a concept similar to how casino slot machines function while they have a progressive attached.
The current iteration of channel point betting is a basic "Yes/No" selection on a single question which is asked during the stream. This is fun and interactive; but let's imagine how to expand this to have multiple bets going on at one time.
For example, a streamer who players multiple games or has some other criteria, or just a single game on a single stream says to their viewers at some point during the stream "This is the bet for this game/stream, will I get X done by the end? or what will the outcome be, etc."
The viewers can then bet on this outcome and it will run as a secondary (or tertiary, etc.) bet that continues until the streamer determines the outcome and pays the viewers. Other bets can continue as normal while these run in the background.
Once the outcome of each bet is determined, the streamer/whomever is allowed, can pay the viewers for each running bet.
