Hey all! Thanks for this thread. We recently deprecated anonymous Cheering after we discovered it was being abused. While we understand some viewers prefer not being recognized for Cheering, we made this change to ensure a safer experience for those who were negatively impacted.
We’ve also heard your concerns on what this means for the future of Bits. This deprecation is not related to any plans to limit Cheering with Bits on Twitch, and is solely focused on providing a safer experience for our community.

Just wanted to update this thread that we are doing an experiment right now with Stream Display Ads! These are less disruptive ads that allow viewers to see and hear Creators while being displayed. Creators will receive ad revenue for each SDA shown. You can find out more information here: https://twitter.com/TwitchSupport/status/1603148201489580032

A majority of ads on web and TV apps should now have normalized sound. We are still continuing the work on this and will update the status again when it is fully complete!

On 2/2, we will turn off Chants.
While this feature was popular, we observed negative impacts to minutes watched for significant groups of creators.
Experiments help us test new ideas in real time, and decide what to build next. Thanks for sharing your feedback with us!An error occurred while saving the comment GordMcLeod commentedI think this is generally a pretty good feature, but I find the private prompt very intrusive. My first impulse when I see it is to try and find a way to permanently disable it for myself. I'd LOVE for this to be possible, and maybe also for it to be made a good deal smaller.

We have heard the feedback in this idea & its comments and reworked chat replies to reduce noise. By allowing users to reply directly to a specific message in a thread, only the user being responded to will be @'ed, rather than the user whose comment initiated the thread. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

First stream ever, absolutely. Milestone stream numbers? Definitely! Celebrating on the hundreds, thousands, etc. would be great. Anniversaries joining stream teams would be cool.
Just one note. The streamiversary is absolutely used as the term for celebrating the anniversary of your first stream ever, not partner or affiliate. I've seen people use partnerversary for partners, and... I'm not sure for affiliates. Affiliversary?
