I can relate, I have been playing video games, since I was 4 years old, now 30 years old.

I had a channel in 2007 on YouTube that had upward of 100k views per video, I had a 92 part Legend of Zelda ocarina of time playthrough.

It was deleted by Nintendo for copyright in 2010. I had lots more by that time on the channel, but the whole channel was deleted by youtube. " The channel was also called n64mastertut

When that channel got deleted, I started a fps channel in 2010, and it has done terrible no one cares about fps gameplay.

I created my stream account in 2008. I have watched a lot of small streamers who are still big today, it's just not the same process it use to be.

Only the small streamers from back in the day are insanely big.
another thing is, I always see some streamers stuck at 20 viewers and it's been that way for years. "viewbotting is a thing and streamers get away with it.

I use to do 12 to 20 hour streams back in 2012, I did gain viewers playing pay day 2 in 2013/2014, they left and never came back, I quit in 2017 due to trolls harassing my channel they found personal information and started prank phone calling people/family members to find out my locations to swatt me.

I use to play a lot of csgo with viewers I would carry lobbies, I had solo que games on my main account and would only pay with viewers on the Alt account.

I stopped playing csgo around 2017 when hackers started to invade the game.

I told blizzard they had a hacking problem on MW warzone a month the game was released, they would not fix the problem or refund me and threated to ban me. if I kept making tickets about asking for my money back due to the cheaters they had on the game.

I bought the game never played the camping and only was interested in Mp, and that was ruined from day 1.

I went from getting a average 20 to 30 kill csgo lobbys 2012-2015 to 4 or 10 kills a game or getting shut down by people using aimbot or auto shooters on csgo.

Yes people can cheat on console, the streamers who say you can't cheat console are delusional some console players are 100% using something with scripts to cheat.

black ops 4 was littered with people using no recoil scrips and aimbots with a USB dongle.
Even the early games on xbox 360 had people running hard console cheats.

I have been playing these games a long time to know the difference in skill level and a person cheating.

I have called out lots of players for cheating and they normally get vac bans on there account 1-2 years later.

To keep this on track there has to be something done to fix the issue with discoverability, viewers can't find new streamers or don't even want to watch new streamers, when they do it's to late, they already just want to quit and stop streaming at that point, even YouTube has bad discoverability.
