We have heard the feedback in this idea & its comments and reworked chat replies to reduce noise. By allowing users to reply directly to a specific message in a thread, only the user being responded to will be @'ed, rather than the user whose comment initiated the thread. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
An error occurred while saving the comment XFile345 commentedThe update from August 3, 2023 does not address the concern posted here at all, and only fixes a bug that has been present since this feature's first appearance. Please add the ability to toggle chat replies (and the reply button) on and off.

An error occurred while saving the comment XFile345 commentedI think this change is a terrible idea. The idea of bits is a great option since I can make a single transaction and then use bits as I see fit to support whatever streamers I see fit. Having individual transactions for every cheer is going to cause a mess of fees and and taxes for everyone, and it's more confusing to figure out how much I'm actually supporting the streamers. And in the channels that are running this experiment, I've lost all of my cheermote progress and my bits have become useless to them and the streamers that depend on cheering as income have now lost this completely.
Allow people to opt out. Allow bits while the experiment is running, and most of all, please consider this a failed experiment. Don't get rid of bits. IT's worked flawlessly for years, microtransactions don't.

I was surprised to find that this still is not implemented. I'm trying to program a quick "reset stream to default" button that will change my title, tags, category, etc. back to normal after doing a one-off type of bonus stream, but changing the notification is impossible? Please add this.
