By include I would like to see the source of my downloads. Such as which modpack is giving me a high number of downloads. Can be filtered down to top 10 modpacks or something close.

With the new csv export, this could be included in that

Website though if you can manage the app as well that would be a bonus.
The general idea is to give the user some visual indicator that a mod download has dependencies without needing to view the file information. As for exact visuals, I will leave that up to your design team but here are a few paint doodles. https://imgur.com/y1ofj5B More than likely a nice icon would be needed. Something that looks like a mod, file, etc. That then has a number in the lower corner. https://imgur.com/06Yi89G
Additionally, there could just be a dialog that opens on download to inform the user that this mod requires dependencies. Then provide the user with quick URLs to find those dependencies as needed. Steam does this for its workshop to improve user interaction. https://imgur.com/uRE0LAL
Could even put in some extra detail to use the mod logos to make a compact GUI or recycle your existing mod search code to create a simple scroll list of required mods. https://imgur.com/OCJpB8v

I agree, maybe we should combine this idea with a few search methods. Most downloaded today, most viewed, most recently updated, etc. Though a simple solution would be to base the release date on the first file uploaded.

Also include the user facing project page. As it doesn't include filtering by modpack or mod either https://minecraft.curseforge.com/members/DarkCow/projects

Better way to say this, there should be an automated processor or editor to change the resolution of the image. I think there are a few front end javascript plugins that curse could use for this.

hmm what if we could also include modpacks? That would allow a simple modpack to be created and then one with say mini-maps added. Though I guess this last part would better be handled with optional installs.

I would build this out the same as your java version or mc version selector system. Then do a display filter to reduce by modloader. This way if a mod can work on several loaders it will show on several. Might want to also filter downloads per project as well.

I say we only split out loaders that are not compatible with forge. Any loader that can be installed on its on or with forge should just be included with forge mods. Though I think we should have some metadata on the page that notes it requires a different loader than forge.

I would like to also be able to specify the version # of dependencies as we upload a project. This will help improve user understanding and could also solve problems with modpack creation. As it use to be a large problem when I was support 1.7 that alpha and beta versions would get installed together. In which the alpha may have needed a specific alpha version while in other cases a beta version.

As an additional would it be possible to opt into something to allow the API to be exposed publicly per project. My end goal is to show a lot of this information as condensed outputs on my site. This way users can see exactly how well the mods are doing and the impact of there contributions.
If not i'm happy with a API key mechanic to access the data.
